Now I’d like to write to my friends out of Iran that can’t understand Farsi . Few days ago we had a 3-day tour to one of the most beautiful parts of Azarbayjan in Iran.
Babak’s castle located in kaleybar on a summit of mountain coverd with different bushes & trees that created wonderful area to spend holydays there.
Being there with your friends, we were 14( 7 male & 7 female),gives you a great chance to enjoy & forget the problems you may have in your life. Singing, joking & taking pictures were our group’s favorite activities. By the way our group’s name is oje sabz (green apex) and its leader is my aunt’s husband.
My mother & I left our house at 6 o’clock in the morning on Friday. We had an appointment with my friend (Rend) at Darvazeh – Tabriz in front of Seir O Safar (a transportation company) to go to Ahar (a town near to Tabriz) & join our friends from Tehran there at 9 o’clock.
After joining the group & getting familiar with them we had delicious breakfast (honey & cream) in Ahar .waiter was really kind and a jolly type of man.
As we rent a mini bus there for 3 days we get on it & leave Ahar toward Kaleybar at about 10:30. The road is incredibly beautiful & I can’t explain it as beautiful as it is.
Finally we reach there at about 11:30 also the sky was cloudy but we couldn’t think of heavy rain. Anyway we started our climbing through beautiful nature toward the castle. There were different specious of animals, insects & flowers that it’s impossible to find them in any other places. After a while dark clouds jam packed over the top & started raining. Walking & receiving rain’s drops gave us extra energy to continue our way instead of being disappointed. It was raining heavily & there was a group of singers there near that so-called café taking there as a refuge from rain & playing guitar so we stopped to listen. As it stopped raining a bit we continue the way to castle. It was really spectacular to watch castle from down the valley. It was cool but amazing. There were a lot of people there as wet as coming out of pool. It was a little bit dangerous because of thunders but any way we finally reach the to the summit of the mountain & our friend Mast called us at top of then mountain from Ireland & gave us grate energy . The castle was wonderful because the castle is built in a way that it was impossible for enemies to penetrate. After visiting different parts of castle we came back toward our bus & in our way we ate delicious broth “Dough Ashi” and dry our self beside the fire there in the jungle. My friend Motreb gathered rubbishes that were laid in the jungle & we all appreciate him.
Coming back to kaleybar we rent a house & stayed night there.in the morning we left there to Majd abad in order to climb Gahgahe’s castle but as it was really far & we may face dark weather and wild animals we refused going on and came back to the village after waiking for a long time.
Coming back to our bus the driver said there is another castle near by you can climb it in half an hour. That castle’s name was Pashto it is near to Horand and it was really beautiful. We reach there at about 7:30 pm. most of our friends were tired because of walking so long but five of us decided to go on. It was really impossible to climb it in half an hour even if you fly there.it took us 5 hours to climb it and we came back at midnight it was dark & raining &our friends at the foot were worried so they were calling our cell phone every minute. Any way it has it’s value to see that beautiful castle over the rock at night. Tired & hungry we went Horand to eat & sleep.
Tomorrow in the morning we came back to Ahar ate breakfast and purchased some chesses & a kind of delicious cookies called “nazih”. Then we went to visit sheikh Shahab-al–din-e-ahari’s tomb in Ahar. Then we left there toward Meshkin to visit fandoglo. It’s located between Ahar & Meshkin. It is full of different kinds of trees with grate people that living there. they brought us yogurt & bread but they didn’t let us to take their pictures. After eating our lunch we came back to Ahar. It was a time to set our friends off to Tehran and coming back to Tabriz after having such a great recreation. That I hope you could be able to visit such a places in a near future too.
